Mission:

To support and empower employers with innovative strategies to more effectively manage your health risks and reduce healthcare costs through a collaborative Think Tank environment via education, executive team workgroups, and employer empowerment assessment and implementation resources.

Community:

The Association for Corporate Health Risk Management (ACHRM) Members are predominantly professionals who are responsible for managing health risks and containing healthcare costs for their organizations (for-profit, not-for-profit, foundations, and public entities) ranging in size up to 30,000 employees or members. These professionals include CEOs, CFOs, COOs, HR Directors, Risk/Benefit Managers, Wellness Directors, Medical Directors, Informatics, Safety / Facilities Managers, among other professionals.

In addition to our employers, ACHRM’s community includes best-in-class, disruptive solution providers, national thought leaders, and leading-edge consultants.  These memberships and sponsorships are only granted on a select basis.

ACHRM also values relationships with other membership-based organizations and trade associations.  ACHRM has offered panels and other collaborative efforts at conferences and other events.  These groups have also participated in ACHRM’s Strategic Initiatives.

Strategy:

As a result of our 2019 Executive Summit, ACHRM is launching a new model leveraging ACHRM’s Executive Teams and Education events to produce education and solution development.  We’re not just talking about the problems, we’re developing solutions! Our platform provides direct support to your organization through readiness audits, education, and step by step implementation support. Be the disruptive force that changes your company’s healthcare costs! Join your colleagues as we work together to control healthcare spend.

Individual Membership Value Proposition:

In fulfilling our Mission, ACHRM offers its Employer community the following key benefits for their Membership investment:

  1. Collaborate with your peers locally and nationally, professionals that include CEOs, CFOs, COOs, HR Directors, Risk/Benefit Managers, Wellness Directors, Medical Directors, Informatics, Safety / Facilities Managers, among others who are responsible with managing their organization’s health risks.
  2. Join one of ACHRM’s current or newly forming Executive Teams, which work to develop solutions for critical issues that organizations face in containing their healthcare costs or managing their health risks.  As reflected in our Executive / Strategic Initiative Teams we discussed efforts to involve employers, national thought leaders / solution providers, advisors and others working together on projects and educational needs for our community.
  3. Participate in our educational models, including workshops, roundtables, webinars, pilots, case studies, along with strategic initiative teams to advance the development and implementation of innovative methodologies.
  4. Access ACHRM’s new platform which provides audit/consultations with a catalogue of solution strategies and support through implementation teams.
  5. Present your story and receive valuable feedback at ACHRM’s events and strategic partner conferences and panel presentations.
  6. Develop solutions working among a community that includes best-in-class, disruptive solution providers, national thought leaders, and leading-edge health insurance consultants, and medical travel facilitators.
  7. Access to online Members-Exclusive Library archiving events, white papers, case studies, and other resources.

In response to the challenges of our Employer community to manage healthcare costs, ACHRM now offers three new pathways to empower employers to take control of their healthcare costs and manage risk.  As reflected in the table below, these “levels” provide guidance and services along with one-on-one support to implement solutions developed during ACHRM events or within our Executive Teams.  Building upon ACHRM’s education and solution development efforts (Levels One and Two), ACHRM has added the following (Levels Three-Five):

  1. Empowering Employer Strategic Assessment / Executive Summary (Recommendations)
  2. Menu of Solutions
  3. Implementation Services

Our Individual and Corporate Employer Members can participate in ACHRM’s ‘strategic assessment’ to identify gaps and opportunities with their current framework to enhance and improve their current strategies, or can choose to engage in support from ACHRM’s menu of strategies and implementation services. Our enhanced model not only benefits our Employer Members, but it also provides greater opportunities for our Consultant Members and Sponsor Partners.

Worth, Washington, D.C., Tampa, Pittsburgh, Hartford, Atlanta, Denver, among many others.

Executive / Strategic Initiative Teams:

In an effort to assist action-ready employers, which are seeking assistance implementing or advancing various Strategic Initiatives discussed during ACHRM’s events, ACHRM has assembled teams of employers, national thought leaders, solution providers, brokers/consultants, and other advisors who meet on a periodic basis (Executive Teams) to advance the following Strategic Initiatives:
